Responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all Company Fleet and Engine Driven Assets (Diesel and Gasoline Engines) 546i1h
Level 11 Craft Certificate in Diesel Mechanic or any other related Industrial training in Diesel Mechanic.
Three (3) subjects CXC.
Minimum of two (2) years working experience in this field.
To be able to troubleshoot a diesel/gasoline engine and take corrective action.
To exercise good housekeeping, techniques and conduct at all times.
Carry out servicing and repairs of all diesel engines and related components (turbocharger, fuel pumps, oil pumps and water pumps etc).
To be able to carry out undercarriage inspection and perform necessary corrective action.
To be able to carry out inspections on transmission systems (automatic and manual) and perform necessary corrective actions.
To be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety requirements and comply with same.
Must adhere to Company’s policies, rules and documented procedures.
Ensure proper care and custody of all equipment.
